Urgent virtual medical support for non-life-threatening conditions through VEMSA.
My Heart Cardiology is pleased to work with Virtual Emergency Medicine Services Australia (VEMSA) to support faster access to urgent virtual medical assessment and clearer pathways to specialist cardiac care where clinically appropriate.

About VEMSA

VEMSA, Virtual Emergency Medicine Services Australia, provides Australia-wide virtual emergency care for urgent, non-life-threatening health concerns. The service is designed to help patients access emergency-trained medical support online, with appropriate escalation pathways when further care is needed.

Australia-wide virtual emergency care

VEMSA provides specialist-led virtual emergency assessment for patients who need urgent medical advice but may not require immediate attendance at a hospital emergency department.

The service can support assessment and management of urgent but non-life-threatening conditions, including minor injuries, acute illness, general medical concerns, medication-related questions, medical certificates, and requests for pathology or imaging where clinically appropriate.

Patients can learn more by visiting Virtual Emergency Medicine Services Australia .
